Cornelia Ritter-Schmalz studied Latin and German Philology in Zurich and completed a doctorate in Latin Literature. She conducted research on Roman book culture and the reception of ancient slavery, which led to an SNSF mobility fellowship at King's College London. As an assistant and research associate she coordinated two international handbook projects for the Chair of Classics/Latin. Most recently, she worked in the Professorships department at UZH. Since June 2025, she has been working as a Project Leader at the UZH Evaluation Office.
